Eleven souls won as We Care Trains winners in Florida

Niceville, Florida - A new venture was conducted in Niceville, FL. The elders invited us to concentrate more on training their congregation in the WCM way of winning souls. They also asked us to spend more time on keeping the new ones who would be won in the effort. So, taking fewer of our Cadre into the church there, we spent the first three nights in class, role playing and lab, thus training members. During the days the cadre spent hours with one another, training the trainers to be better trainers. Instead of spending time sharing with one another what we were doing in campaigns that was different from one another, we worked toward doing the same things. And did it accomplish our efforts in getting onto the same page with one another! And our goal was accomplished, that of enhancing our training at nights the local churches: we know it will also set the stage toward future campaigns of our training them better as well.

In training the church we:
1. Lectured the approach,
2. Role played at the front to demonstrate it,
3. Divided into groups to work in lab, having students do it themselves,
4. Placed our Cadre behind doors in the church building to serve as mock residents, having the newly trained leaders lead the teams, and then we
5. Hit the streets to win souls

Along the way we concentrated on AfterCare, adopting the whole person and doing things like taking new babes to the park, teaching them further God's Word, and placing them on our teams to go and win new souls, and the such like.

Did it work?

Eleven new souls were won. Nine were present Sunday morning. One in the Air Force was out of town.

It works!

Why not have We Care Ministries come to your congregation and let's win souls! Call Larry West, Director, 318-348-1954. We await your invitation!

Meet your new brothers and sisters surrounded by elders, new "Care Givers" (Mentors) and those who found and won them.

Thirty Cadre from 14 states came to Niceville, Florida to concentrate on training local Christians and keeping the new souls won

Niceville, Florida - Here are our Cadre and locals being trained in Niceville! Praise God for every one of them! Thank you!!

Diana Rodriguez obeyed the Gospel three days ago and has been going out on teams ever since, looking for others to save in Christ as well. What JOY!

Niceville, Florida - We are slowing our actual "seeking" launch into the neighborhoods around our present campaign for two basic reasons. One, we are slowing to concentrate on doing a better job training local Christians in our We Care Approach. We are training in the classroom, in lab and finally in the field itself. Then, instead of spending more time "seeking," we are emphasizing the "keeping" the new Christians we are reaching. Once we find and win them, we are spending more time building relationship.

Here pictured is our latest find. Reggie Gardner, Syble West, Jason Hunt (local) found and won Matt Sozenski in town yesterday. Today they are out spending time with Matt, learning his life, accepting him with love and teaching further.

Pray we keep learning how to do a better and better job in our soul-winning and keeping.

Tommy and Bebie Key (Advanced Cadre Trainers) demonstrate WCM approach in front of local Christians before groups went to rooms to practice it on their own.

Niceville, Florida - We are presently in the panhandle of Florida in another campaign. This is Larry's fifth time to be here. The Campaign actually begins on Saturday, but we have baptized five already into Christ! We praise God!

We are emphasizing soul winning this time! The We Care Cadre has been meeting each day for several hours, training themselves more extensively to be better able to train local Christians in the WCM approach. We are ground troops and we want to do the best job possible for the Lord and local churches.

Last night we saw more than fifty local Christians attend a nearly three hour training session. The first night, on Wednesday, we lectured, giving an overview of our approach. Then last night students returned to break up into group to do "lab." And was it ever exciting in the building! Tonight we will return to do the same, then tomorrow we will hit the streets.

We need to come to your congregation to do the same. All we need is your invitation!

Small groups practice confronting to win friends, families and neighbors to Christ.

Another (left) obeys in the middle of training on Wednesday night.

Lab includes actual practicing at the church building. In a safe environment we place one "behind the door" who is lost in sin. Then the team being trained knocks the door and puts to work the We Care Ministries approach. The one behind the door could also be a friend of one on the team, or even a family member.

Meagan Torres was baptised late at night with great joy.

Mria is one happy new sister! She's back at the building today, learning, eating, fellowshipping, growing! We're going the extra mile in this campaign to KEEP the new converts!!

Jeriamiah is in the Air Force and was like picking a peach off the low-hanging branch that just fell into our hands. "Have you been thinking about your need for the Lord?" we asked him. "I've got a lot of changes going on my my life right now," he said, "and this is the right thing to do."
